An Elopement has transformed from a secretive act into a romantic and personalised way to get married, focusing on the couple’s desires rather than traditional wedding norms. Modern elopements vary in size, with options ranging from intimate ceremonies for just the couple to celebrations that include close friends and family. This flexibility allows couples to create meaningful experiences that reflect their relationship.
Elopements can incorporate unique elements like destination locations, adventurous activities, and themed celebrations, fostering a more intimate atmosphere centred on the couple’s love. Ultimately, elopement embraces spontaneity and simplicity, making it an appealing choice for couples seeking a personal wedding experience free from traditional complications.
Lily & John decided to Elope to Manorbier Castle in West Wales and celebrate with their family at a later date. So with just the two of them and their dog Marvin as the ring bearer, they had a beautiful intimate ceremony on the grounds of Manorbier Castle and portraits at the beach. It is always my honour to be asked to be part of and document such a personal and intimate occasion.
Please get in touch if you’re planning a West Wales Elopement as I would love to capture and be part of your story.
