Mike and Joanna got married at The Priory Barn in Hertfordshire. The Priory Barn was voted 21st out of the Top 100 UK Wedding Venues by Brides Magazine so it was a pleasure to shoot here for the first time. Mike and Jo booked me on recommendation from Mark and Katie (Mike’s sister) whose wedding I had covered at De Courcey’s manor just outside Cardiff.
I travelled down the night before so I could start covering the wedding early in the morning. I met with Jo and friends in the room of her hotel for some very chilled out bridal preps and then took a short drive to The Priory Barn. The barn is set in a rural location and with a relaxed atmosphere where the ceremony is held in the barn and drinks and canapes are served in grounds.
Jo looked beautiful in her wedding dress and Mike dapper in his suit even though he towered over me :-). After the ceremony the guest chatted on the grass, the kids played and the sun shone. What more can you ask for perfect wedding photography at The Priory Barn.
Here are a selection of photos from the day. If you are thinking of getting married at the barn and you would like a creative wedding photographer to cover your day then please email or call me.
