Their wedding day
It’s always nice to cover a wedding just around the corner from where you live. Don’t get me wrong it’s lovely to cover weddings at venues all across Wales but it’s less stressful when its only a 5 minute drive to the venue.
Kelly & Owain decided to get married at Bryngarw House. The country house has character with modern elegance and set in 113 acres of lovely grounds with native woodlands and exotic gardens.
The day started of at Kelly’s house for the bridal preps with the madness of everybody getting ready. We then headed off the Bryngarw for the ceremony. We were blessed with the weather and everybody mingled outside the house waiting for Kelly to arrive. Kelly looked stunning her vintage style dress and with a very proud dad on her arm. They walked down the aisle to meet a very nervous Owain who also scrubbed nice as well :-).
After the ceremony everybody had drinks in the gardens whilst I took Kelly and Owain for walk around the country gardens. When I meet my couples I alway say to them ‘This is your day and whatever you want to do then I will be there to capture it’. This was no different on this day as this mad couple decided to go for a walk in the river. Whilst Kelly was looking beautiful sitting upon a log. Her gallant husband reached out a hand to help her off and to make sure she didn’t fall in walked straight into the river shoes and all :-). That didn’t stop them as we had some great fun taking some photos of them messing around in the river.
It’s always great to work with couples who willing to have fun on the day. This shows in their photos how happy they are on their day and this day was no exception. On this day I also had the pleasure of working with Tiagi and Sandra of Caldeira Wedding Films.
