Rachael & Steve | Weobley Castle & Ocean View Windmill Gower Wedding Photography
On a rainy day in April it was the turn of Rachael & Steve to get married. They both met in ibiza in July 2013 whilst on holiday. Steve is in the RAF and was going on his 3rd tour of Afghanistan but this didn’t stop them keeping in touch. They spoke whenever they could & Rachael sent him out lots of care packages (110 to be precise). When Steve proposed he tied the ring to Molly – the labradors collar with a note that said “mammy will you marry daddy?” – how could she say no to that?! The ceremony took place at St Thomas’ Church in Swansea Wales and the reception was held Ocean View Windmill in the Gower, near where Steve grew up.
The day started off with wedding preps at Ocean View Windmill in the gower, we then headed off for the church in Swansea. It was great to see Molly the labrador there as chief bridesmaid :-). The ceremony was very chilled and relaxed and Steve and Rachael got married in front of family and friends. The weather held off long enough for us to capture some lovely romantic portraits at Weobley Castle which is just around the corner from the reception venue.
Everyone then partied on into the evening. It was lovely day and it was my great please to capture the wedding of two people so much in love. If you are getting married in the Gower and are looking for a Swansea wedding photographer or a wedding photographer for Ocean View Windmill then please get in touch.
