Wedding photographer Miskin Manor and Merthyr Mawr Church
Mark and Katie got married on 6th July 2013 at St Trills Church in Merthyr Mawr and held the reception at Miskin Manor. What a day, the sun was shining and everybody was smiling. With that combination nothing could go wrong, with a great couple to photograph I was able capture some fantastic and memorable photos.
The day started at Katie’s’ parents house for the bridal preps where some unusual characters were hanging out on the lawn. I captured some lovely shots of the girls getting ready before heading off to the church. What a setting and it was great see couples and friends from past weddings. After a lovely relaxing ceremony we headed off for some photos on the swing bridge and then stopped off at the dipping bridge for a dip, well I went for a dip to capture one my favorite shots of the year. I rolled up my trousers and persuaded the bridal party to sit on the edge of the bridge over the water. I want to say a big shout out to Katie for letting me capture this shot as she is afraid of heights, I couldn’t of done it without her.
We then drove to Miskin Manor to capture some relaxed photos in the grounds. This wonderful venue has lots of great architecture, gardens and features to capture some lovely shots.
