Gem & Craig | Bryngarw House Wedding Photography
This has got to be one one of my favourite weddings for the year. Gemma and Craig got married on Saturday 23rd July 2016 at Bryngarw House near Bridgend. This wedding venue is just 5 mins around the corner from where i live so it was nice change not to have to drive an hour to venue. I have been a wedding photographer at Bryngarw House many times and it is always a pleasure to cover a wedding there again.
You couldn’t have wished for better weather, blue skies with white wispy clouds. I arrived early for bridal preps and went to the new bridal suite at the venue. Gem was there with her mother and bridesmaids having the final touches done to hair and make up. Gemma looked stunning in her bohemian wedding dress. Every photographer wishes to photograph a bride in that perfect dress and Gemma didn’t disappoint. Craig didn’t look too bad either but it was a bit of a shock to him clean shaven as he had been growing a beard for quite a while that was also a surprise to Gem as she saw him for the first time when she walked down the aisle.
The ceremony was held in the main function room of Bryngarw House and was a fun natural ceremony with heartfelt and funny vows (See below). After the ceremony photographs were taken around the country park, food was eaten, speeches were toasted and the photographer climbed a tree for a cool shot of the bride and groom and friends (That’s what you call dedication). This wedding was full of fun and laughter and what can say about the couple but WOW.
I loved very minute of this wedding and would shoot it all over again. I wish Gem and Craig all the happiness in the future. If you are getting married then check out more Bryngarw House Weddings here. I live in Bryncethin and know the staff and wedding venue very well. Yes, I’ll marry you, my dear.
And here’s the reason why.
So I can push you out of bed
When the baby starts to cry.
And if we hear a knocking
And it’s creepy and it’s late,
I hand you the torch you see,
And you investigate.
Yes I’ll marry you, my dear,
You may not apprehend it,
But when the tumble-drier goes
It’s you that has to mend it.
You have to face the neighbour
Should our labrador attack him,
And if a drunkard fondles me
It’s you that has to whack him.
Yes, I’ll marry you,
You’re virile and you’re lean,
My house is like a pigsty
You can help to keep it clean.
That sexy little dinner
Which you served by candlelight,
As I do chipolatas,
You can cook it every night!!!
It’s you who has to work the drill
And put up curtain track,
And when I’ve got PMT it’s you who gets the flak,
I do see great advantages,
But none of them for you,
And so before you see the light,
I DO, I DO, I DO!!
