It was great to be back shooting a wedding at Bryngarw House. As you drive down Bryngarw Parks’ beautiful country lane, through the tunnel of draping greenery and past the charming duck pond this Country house hotel comes into view. The hotel is set in 113 acres of parkland at Brynmenyn, near Bridgend. From the shimmering chandelier to the grand staircase, Bryngarw House offers all the charm and character you need to make your Wedding Day truly special. This lovely hotel is only 10 mins drive from where I live and I know the grounds well as I have visited many times with my family and held family photo shoots in the many gardens.
Chris and Laura got married Oct 1st 2016 and the weather was a mixture of sunshine and showers. Bridal preparations were full under way up in the bridal suite and the guests were starting to arrive ready for the big day. Chris looked very dapper in his blue suit and waited nervously for Laura to walk down the aisle. After a beautiful ceremony we headed off for portrait photos in the grounds. Dodging the showers I was able to capture some natural moments of the newlyweds having some time out and just taking that moment to say hello to each other.
Your wedding day is about marrying the person you love in front of your closest friends and family. It is day of celebration and a party and Chris and Laura’s day was no different. Filled with fun and laughter, crazy groomsmen and bridesmaids, funky or terrible dancing and little moments of pure joy. I hope the photos I have captured of their wedding at Bryngarw House reflects the happiness of their day.
