Its always nice to photograph a wedding at a venue I have never been before. The one part of my job I always enjoy is visiting new places as I have the pleasure at photographing weddings at some the best wedding venues in Wales. This time it was at St Tewdrics House in Chepstow which is owned and run by husband and wife Geraint and Sara Thomas and their family. This beautiful welsh villa is approached by a tree-lined driveway and has amazing views over the Severn estuary.
Laurie & Peter had planned their perfect wedding at this welsh villa and it was perfect except the welsh weather didn’t play ball and it poured down all day. This didn’t stop L & P enjoying every moment with their family & friends and of course their dog Ralph. I think Ralph stole all the limelight from Laurie when he was walked down the aisle by Pete’s sister Jessica and ended up in a lot of pictures. As you will know I love dogs at weddings and Ralph was so well behaved on the day I couldn’t not give him the attention he deserved. Anyway this post is not about Ralph, its about Pete & Laurie who didn’t care if it rained and braved the weather which allowed me to capture natural portraits of the both of them around the grounds.
The went inside the house where they mingled with their guests, ate canapés and drank champagne then partied on into the night. The perfect welsh wedding. Please enjoy their highlights below and get in touch if your looking for wedding photographer for your wedding at St Tewdrics House or anywhere else in Wales.
A big shout out to all the other welsh wedding suppliers who made their day perfect:
