Dee and James got married in July this year at Sant Ffraed House. This was my first time back at Sant Ffraed since it had been taken over by the Oldwalls group. The venue was always beautiful to start with but the facelift now takes this venue to another level. Modern luxury meets traditional grandeur with Chic décor and all the rooms are oozing style with stunning views across the grounds.
On the morning of the wedding Dee got ready with her wedding party in the main suite of the house. So many moments happen on a wedding day. The one moment I think is so important as it will probably never happen again. That moment is Dad seeing his daughter in her dress for the very first time. Sometimes fathers beam with pride and some wear their hearts on the sleeve and shed a tear of happiness. Dee’s dad didn’t disappoint and couldn’t hold back the emotions. Who said boys don’t cry.
The ceremony took places in the drawing room and after the group photos we did a quick dash over to the K room for the drinks reception.
For a July wedding you would expect sunshine but when you get married in Wales you never know. On their day we had a mixture of sunshine and showers but I was still able to photograph some amazing moments throughout the day.
Enjoy their wedding story below. Please get in touch if you are looking for a wedding photographer for your wedding at Sant Ffraed House, as I would love to capture your story.
