Jenna is the beautiful daughter of Helena and Daren whose wedding I shot back in 2013 and it was a pleasure to be back to cover the wedding of Jenna and Jamie and all their family and friends. J & J got married at the picturesque Peterstone Court Voted “number one wedding venue in the UK for Georgian splendour,” by Tiara Magazine and set in beautiful gardens overlooking the river Usk and the Pen Y Fan Mountain range in Brecon, the views from Peterstone Court are truly Jaw dropping, and made a perfect backdrop for their country wedding.
The day started off with the wedding preps at the hotel (Makeup by Victora Fox Make Up) and it was great setting with a lovely georgian room to capture photos of the bride and her bridesmaids and of course the flower girls. After popping into the Groom’s room for a few sneaky peaks it was down stairs to capture the guests arriving ready for the ceremony. Jenna looked stunning walking down the stairs her dress and you could see how choked up here dad was. The ceremony was relaxed and informal and full of laughter and tears. I was watching the weather all day as I knew there was a chance of rain so I grabbed the happy couple quickly and we popped outside to get some fun shots under an umbrella. Sometimes when it rains there is no chance to think about having your photo taken because you are fighting against the rain and wind and trying to stay dry. This then allows for me to capture natural, in the moment wedding pictures that you can never repeat or recreate.
Before they got too wet we popped back inside for the speeches and few sneaky pics on the dancefloor.
