Oli & Mel got married on 16th May 2016 at the unique Nashpoint Lighthouse just on the Monknash coastline in South Wales. The Lighthouse holds about 20 – 25 weddings per year so this is a very unique wedding venue. The weddings held here for small (25 guests) intimate, fun and informal weddings.
I have covered many weddings at Nashpoint Lighthouse and this one was relaxed and fun as the others. Mel arrived just before the service with her Mother in a fantastic wedding car. The sun was shining but there was quite a strong wind this day so the guests were getting blown around a bit. Mel looked stunning in simple wedding gown and Oli looked sharp and dapper in his blue suit.
Wedding photography at Lighthouse is always a relaxed affair and today was no different. After the service we took a few photos at the opt of the lighthouse and then went outside to have a few with the guests. The coastline around the lighthouse allows for some beautiful wedding photos with the tower as the backdrop. After some snacks and drinks Oli & Mel headed off the the Morgan’s Hotel in Swansea for the meal but on the way I noticed a colourful rapeseed field so we stopped off on the way to capture some romantic portraits.
With such a handsome couple and amazing location weddings at Nashpoint Lighthouse are always a pleasure and hopefully the photos below show what a great day it was.
