Nothing stops love
Joe and Ellie were due to get married in 2020 and then due to covid postponed to 2021. Every couple was hoping that life would return to normal in 2021 but life never goes as you expect. With the pandemic still continuing Joe and Ellie couldn’t see their dream wedding going ahead with the number of guests that they had originally planned for. They just wanted to get married and decided to tie the knot on January 29th 2021 at the registry office in Cardiff City Hall with just their parents as their witnesses. They asked me along to capture the socially distanced ceremony and then afterwards we went for a short walk over to Cardiff Museum and Alexandra Gardens for some natural couple portraits.
It was so nice to be back photographing a wedding even if it was only 6 people and I look forward photographing Joe and Ellie again either for an off the beaten track photoshoot or for their anniversary celebrations in 2022.
