It was my great pleasure to photograph Jolene and Damian’s wedding at the Old Rectory Hotel in Llangattock, Crickhowell, South Wales. The hotel is set in Llangattock just across the river from Crickhowell and set against the beautiful backdrop of the Black Mountains. The building dates back to the 16th century, and was once home of the celebrated poet Henry Vaughan.
When I met J & D for the first time I knew we just gelled. J & D are a couple that embrace life and everything it has to offer. They like to party and go to lots of music festivals so they based their theme around a wedding festival. Handmade signs, hay bales, garden games, a stunning marquee, live music and dancing. Exactly what a wedding should be all about.
When I arrived in the morning until I left the party in the night there was a permanent smile on both J & D’s facing and they never stopped laughing. I hope the highlights from their wedding ooze the atmosphere of the their day as it was another one of those weddings I will never forget.
Enjoy the photos below and please get in touch if your getting married at the Old Rectory Hotel and looking for South Wales wedding photographer who will capture the atmosphere of your wedding party.
