With all the uncertainty with weddings at the moment it was so nice to be back photographing people. Robyn and Stuart weren’t going to let a pandemic get in their way and held a beautiful micro wedding at Huntstile Organic Farm in Somerset. Set in the beautiful Somerset countryside, Huntstile is a working organic farm set in the ancient hills of the Quantocks.
I love a farm wedding in Somerset as there are plenty outdoor areas for great portraits and Huntstile didn’t disappoint with large fields, a pond and amazing views right over to the Prince of Wales bridge. This was my first wedding back since March and the weather was fab. The ceremony was held outside in the courtyard in front of Robyn and Stu’s close family and friends and then a quiet reception meal was had in the Marquee adjacent to the farm building. Robyn and Stu were restricted by numbers as they were only able to invite 30 people but it’s not the number of people that make a wedding, its the right people.
With only 30 people it allowed them to mingle and get round and talk to everyone of their guests which is not always possible at a large wedding. It also allowed them more time together to take a walk around the grounds and enjoy every moment of their day. This was a beautiful and relaxed wedding at an amazing venue and the day finished off on a high with an incredible sunset over the hills.

They give you the chance to personalise your wedding, invite the people closest to you, have more time to spend together, get adventurous with your photographs as there is no time limit and most of all enjoy and savour every moment.
