So usually when you start planning your wedding you start thinking about who to invite. Now this is always a daunting task as you don’t want to go upsetting anyone, especially Aunty Mable or you second cousin removed as you know they will want to be there. Then you get round to thinking.
Who is one of the most important people in my life, apart from Mam and Dad. These days it your best pal, your cuddle buddy, your furry friend, your dog. Yes, I know they are not a person but to some people they are family and an important member of the family. Dogs at weddings just make sense.
They don’t complain, they don’t get stressed and they are always there with a smile on their face waiting for a pat or cuddle.
More dogs at wedding please!
So there is a dress code, who cares, pop a bow tie on, a flower or a ribbon. Let’s face it they would look good in anything. Be prepared to not be the centre of attention as Dogs always get the attention at weddings, especially from photographers. So if you’re planning your wedding don’t forget to include your dog, he can be the ring bearer (but be careful where they put the rings) or even walk you down the aisle (Dad might not be to happy though). Let your dog be part of your wedding day. I am very lucky in Wales to photograph at such fab venues who allow dogs at the ceremony. Check with your venue before hand but your day wouldn’t be the same with your dog at your side.
