Michelle and David got married on a beautiful sunny day on 23rd June 2015. Their ceremony took place at Coity Church and they held their reception at Cottrell Park Golf resort near Cardiff, South Wales. The day started off with bridal preparations at Michelle’s parents house with the very talented make-up artist Victoria Fox. I have had the pleasure in shooting photographs of brides that Victoria has worked with and every time the makeup is beautiful and flawless making my job of capturing the brides beauty a little more easier.
After bridal preps I headed of to the quaint church in a small village called Coity just outside Bridgend. David looked dapper in his blue suit and arrived in style in one of his trucks. Michelle and Family also arrived in style in their vintage wedding cars. After a wonderful service we took a short walk into Coity Castle grounds for some family and couple portraits. After some champagne and some stunning photos in a great location we headed off for the reception at Cottrell Park which is set in historic parkland that has been landscaped over several centuries. Views sweep as far as the Brecon Beacons and southwards over the Bristol Channel to the Mendips. The gently rolling parkland with stately trees, many hundreds of years old.
Drinks were served from the lovely mobile cocktail bar provided by Beetle Juice (Thanks for the taster), the guests mingled on the patio and enjoyed the sun and I took Michelle and David for few photos around the grounds. With the sun setting behind the trees it allowed for some beautiful portraits. The evening rolled on with singing waiters, Dai in a dress and the lovely first dance held in the marquee on the grounds.
