It was my pleasure to cover the small intimate wedding of Dan and Elise in April this year. The ceremony took place at Castell Coch (Welsh for Red Castle) is a 19th-century Gothic Revival castle built above the village of Tongwynlais in South Wales. The wedding took place in the beautiful drawing room in front of close family friends. After the ceremony D & E had some portraits around the castle and the grounds before heading off to their wedding reception venue.
This was no typical reception venue. D & E held their it at Tiny Rebel which is a offbeat, brick-walled bar with themed rooms serves craft beers and ciders and creative burgers. This was a nice change from manor houses or hotels and allowed me to be a bit more creative shooting some natural portraits in the streets of Cardiff. Check out the photos from their day below and if your thinking about getting married in Cardiff and are looking for a creative South Wales wedding photographer then please drop me a line.
