Carreg Cennen Castle and Farm Wedding

With Covid-19 putting a dampener on weddings this year some couples just decided that they just wanted to get married. Yes they couldn’t have lots of family and friends there on the day but to some couples it’s not all about how many are there, it’s more about the right people being there. Lauren and Luke decided to get married at Carreg Cennen Castle which dates back to the 13th century and is surrounded by the beautiful welsh countryside. The ceremony took place in the barn in front of 15 of their closest friends and family and most importantly their two beagles. Due to Covid there were restrictions in place including the wearing of masks and social distancing but this didn’t stop Lauren and Luke having the special day they planned.

After the ceremony the couple jumped onto a farm truck and got whisked up the hill to the castle where I was able to capture some amazing pictures of the two them and their dogs. Weddings are still happening and it shows that love will always conquer and with a little bit of imagination you can still have the wedding you always dreamed of. Please get in touch if your planning a wedding in wales as I would love to photograph your wedding.
