Chris and Elena have booked me for their wedding at Fairy Hill next year. We had spoken via Skype but never met up so it was lovely when they booked a connection session back in Wales. This was a great opportunity to meet each other, have a chat about their plans for their wedding day and also photograph them in more natural surroundings. They wanted an Autumn shoot so we decided on the woodland around Castell Coch in South Wales.
My connection sessions are great for getting rid of any nerves you may have being in front of the camera. I try to capture the connection and relationship between the both of you whilst also trying to help you relax in front of the camera. Chris and Elena are Ballroom dancers in their spare time so they are used to being in the spotlight, so having their picture taken when their not dancing was out of their comfort zone. So I integrated their love of dancing into the shoot which allowed them to have fun with the photographs. Stunning light, Autumnal colours and a beautiful couple made this session a pleasure to shoot.
